Pelaajatcom and one of the world’s biggest tournament organizers BLAST have extended their partnership for the 2023 season.
Therefore, Pelaajatcom will broadcast world-class BLAST Premier Counter-Strike throughout the year. Pelaajatcom will also host BLAST Premier Qualifiers where anyone from professionals to amateurs has a chance to qualify for the BLAST Premier circuit to compete with the best.
The total prize pool for the entire circuit will be $2,475,000 spread out across seven tournaments. BLAST Premier’s Spring and Fall seasons schedule is the following:
You can watch all the tournaments live from Pelaajatcom’s Twitch channel.
In addition to watching your favorite teams through the Pelaajatcom Twitch channel, you also have the opportunity to clear your own way to the top of CS:GO. Pelaajatcom organizes its own Pelaajatcom Series and Nordic Masters tournaments, along which anyone has the opportunity to climb through the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown (October 4-8) to the Fall Finals (November 22-26) all the way to the last $1,000,000 World Finals tournament of the year (December 13-17).
The Nordic Masters, hosted by Pelaajatcom from 15th to 17th September 2023, is a qualifier event for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. Here eight Nordic teams will compete for a place in the BLAST Showdown tournament and the opportunity to compete with CS:GO top names for as much as $135,500 in prize money.
Teams from Finland will be represented by the top 2 teams of the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Finals, while the remaining six spots will be filled by Nordic CS:GO teams selected from the Nordic Qualifier and by invitation.
Nordic Masters Participants:
The winner of the Nordic Masters will advance directly to the BLAST Premier Showdown to face teams such as Liquid, OG, and G2.
Three (3) separate Nordic Qualifiers will be played 1st to 3rd of September. The qualifiers are open to all Nordic players and teams from Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Registration for the qualifier tournaments is done on the Pelaajatcom FACEIT page. Only the 128 fastest registered teams can participate, 32 in each tournament.
The winning teams of each Nordic Qualifier will advance to Nordic Masters.
The Pelaajatcom Series Fall serves as the qualifier for the Nordic Masters in Finland, and it consists of the following races:
Pelaajatcom Series open qualifier will be held over one day with one (1) spot available for the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Final. Anyone can register for the tournament with their own five-player team, and there is also room for two substitutes.
Registration for the open qualifier is done on the Pelaajatcom FACEIT page. Only the fastest 128 registered teams can participate. The winner of the open qualifier earns a spot in the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Final, which will be held at the Assembly x Powerpark LAN event. The winner of the qualifier will also receive free accommodation for the event.
The Pelaajatcom Series Fall Final tournament comes back more exciting than ever as two coveted spots for the Nordic Masters and a prize pool of 5000€ await the teams. The Final will take place at the Assembly x Powerpark LAN event, with the crowd in attendance and the sweet commentary of Arttu “Olvari” Hämäläinen.
The Pelaajatcom Series Fall Final will comprise a total of eight (8) participants, including three invited teams (ENCE AC, JANO, HAVU), one team from the previously mentioned open qualifier, and four teams from the on-site BYOC competition qualifier.
In the BYOC qualifier held at the PowerPark event, a total of 16 teams can participate on-site. The competition follows a GSL-style group stage, from which eight teams will advance to the first round of the playoffs. Four victorious teams will then proceed to face the invited (and one open qualifier) teams, who join the competition in the second round of the playoffs.
To participate in the BYOC qualification, teams must purchase computer seat tickets for the event and play on their own computers on-site. The grand finals of the tournament will take place using computers provided by the organizers.
The top 2 teams of the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Final tournament will advance directly to the Nordic Masters tournament and secure a lion’s share of the 5000€ prize pool.
